Shanghai, P.R. China

Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at China Brew & China Beverage 2018. For the ninth time an official German Pavilion is set up at the leading trade show for the Asian beverage industry.

China is one of the biggest markets for beverages in the world and has developed with double-digit growth rates within the last years. And the future prospects are also very promising: According to Euromonitor International the consumption of soft drinks is expected to increase by 15 percent within the next 5 years and will rise up to 108 billion litres in 2022.

China is the global number one sales market for beer in absolute terms. Until 2022 volume sales are expected to remain stable at a high level of around 45 billion litres. Wine is becoming more and more popular among Chinese consumers. Total sales will grow by 16 percent to 5.8 billion litres until 2022.

Modern and efficient technology for the production and packaging of beverages is an important factor for future growth of the beverage industry. German machinery manufacturers offer themselves as powerful partners and provide a wide range of technical solutions for Chinese beverage producers, always considering the latest development in hygienic design, energy-efficient beverage production and filling techniques.

The German Pavilion at China Brew and China Beverage will give you an excellent opportunity to meet leading manufacturers in beverage and brewing technology.

On behalf of all German exhibitors, the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the German Engineering Federation - Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (VDMA) cordially invite you to visit the Official German presentation at China Brew & China Beverage 2018.
